{"id":9741,"date":"2026-07-04T07:51:57","date_gmt":"2026-07-04T05:51:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bteh.klopsolutions.nl\/nl\/elephant-research-thailand-donation\/"},"modified":"2026-07-04T08:16:08","modified_gmt":"2026-07-04T06:16:08","slug":"elephant-research-thailanddonatie","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/bteh.klopsolutions.nl\/nl\/elephant-research-thailanddonatie\/","title":{"rendered":"Elephant Research Program Thailand &#8211; donation request"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you so much for joining BTEH&#8217;s Elephant research program!<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We kindly ask you to transfer <a href=\"#donate\">your donation<\/a>.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where: BTEH Field Station \u2013 Kuiburi National Park, Thailand<br>When: Nov 17-27, 2026<br>Costs*: 10 days: 2.000 Euro&#8217;s \/ 2.300 USD<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>This includes shared accommodation at a beautiful guesthouse (Kongmun Resort) located within the village, all meals (vegetarian), coffee\/tea\/water, (limited) internet access, and on-the-ground transport<\/li><li>All research drives in the beautiful Kuiburi National Park<\/li><li>Lectures from multiple elephant research and community conservation experts<\/li><li>A one-day trip to Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park and Phraya Nakhon Cave<\/li><li>The participation fee excludes flights and personal expenses (e.g. local SIM card, snacks, alcoholic drinks, meals\/drinks during the day trip to Phraya Nakhon Cave)<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can provide all applicants with personal fundraiser pages so you can raise financial support for your contribution to elephant conservation and limit your costs.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*All funds raised from participating in this unique experience are donations and will directly contribute to elephant research and community conservation projects.<\/p><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cancellation Policy:<\/h4><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Non-Refundable Deposits:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Participants are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 500 euro upon booking to secure their spot in the program. This deposit is typically not refundable regardless of when the cancellation occurs.<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cancellation periods apply, such as:<\/strong><\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Early cancellation: Cancellations made well in advance of the start date of the program (2 months) will be given a full refund but may lose their deposit depending on the circumstance.<\/li><li>Last-minute cancellation: Cancellations made within 1 month before the start date will lose their deposit<\/li><\/ul><h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exceptions:<\/h4><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Extenuating circumstances: In cases of emergencies or unavoidable circumstances, such as illness or family emergencies there may be an exception. Participants may need to provide documentation to support their claim.<\/li><li>Instead of a refund, participants may be offered the option to reschedule their participation for a future date, depending on availability and the organization\u2019s policies.<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"donate\">You can donate the deposit now (500 EUR) and before August 1 donate the second term (1500 EUR) before September 17.
